Jonathan and Haisong.

Jonathan Leijonjufvud (or, "Tan Tan") and Yang Haisong.  Both made me feel extremely confortable on what may have been an otherwise wholly uncomfortable experience.  Crammed in their tour van, I've felt more at home than I ever thought possible.  Jonathan, when he's not slaying the P.K.14 drum kit, travels around Asia doing photo and creative work.  Haisong is a producer, and runs a record label with band-mate Zaza Zhang of After Argument.
