Hiperson interview.
Hiperson interview. They brought me through a park, past a few people fishing who were quite vocal, perhaps about their catch. Through a few gates, to a small island. The best interview I've done yet. Very positive. Hopeful.
I'll have to grab P.K.14 in Beijing and ask them a few of these new questions. STOLEN, another Chengdu local band I've seen, share a home, and a practice space with them. I hung out with those guys, and we all met up at a bar. We ate, drank in something that resembled a Chinese treefort, and then went out for chicken feet. I had chicken feet with an old man on the sleeper train, and they were tough and cold.. These, one of the band members assured me, will melt in your mouth.
I agreed, not turning anything down as of yet, and he was correct. Ultra spicy, as expected, and quite good actually. More similar to chicken wings, and infinitely better than my first experienced. We got more noodles and a plate of something else I don't know, drank a few more local beers, and called it a day. The timing was off on the practice space session, so tomorrow includes filming both bands a second time, who share the same space. A killer day. Onward, to my final full day in Chengdu! I'll miss it!
