AWEH x The World Underground

In the spring of 2014, I ran a fundraiser for what will become Episode 2 of The World Underground.  Joining forces with AWEH.tv, we attempted to capture a moment in time on a mind-melting, booze soaked tour through N.E. China, Japan, and Korea.  The next round of images is from this tour.  Enjoy.

Back to Chengdu, China. After 30 hours and 4 flights, It didn't quite click that I was in China until the smells of Sichuan hit me on the cab ride to my hotel. I layed down and mulled over my next move. I texted Stolen to see if anything was happening. He said they were practicing in 2 hours. Minutes later, Hiperson called and said they were practicing in the same space in 20 minutes. Though delirious, I grabbed my gear and immediately jumped in a cab.

Who do I see upon arrival but one of my favorite people on the planet, Zaza from After Argument, who lives in Beijing. What are the odds? I did my best to film little bits and pieces of it all, barely able to holds my arms up. I am a very, very lucky man. It begins. Onward!!! ...but for now, back to bed.
