Sichuan Hot Pot

Sichuan hotpot with Hiperson, Zaza, and Xiaobin. The exact same place I ended my trip here last time. There's a deep love for this stuff here. A giant boiling cauldron of ultra-spicy oil. You grab whatever's on the plate, in this case, mini catfish, brains, blood, lotus root, and more. Take it for a swim, dip it in garlic and cilantro oil to take some of the heat away. Such a great first 3 days in China, with totally unexpected friends in town that I met the last trip. Today I trek to Xi'an. The halfway point to Beijing. I'll meet up with a DIY crew called SYSTEM ERROR, for a show tomorrow. Sounds noisy and amazing. Can't wait. See you in one month, Chengdu!
